About Leila

I’m a trauma healing guide.

I support humans in moving through their inner revolutions and reconnecting with their truth using a method I created called SADRSomatic Alchemy Discovery and Reconnection. This approach weaves together multiple trauma-attuned modalities and the intuitive wisdom I’ve carried since childhood. And yes—it’s just as exciting as it sounds.

Over the past five years, I’ve immersed myself in deep training and mentorship with leading voices in trauma healing, including Gabor Maté MD, Frank Anderson MD, Richard Schwartz PhD, Stephen Porges PhD, Bessel van der Kolk MD, and NICABM (The National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine).

I also completed the 6-month Polyvagal Certificate Course: Safety, Connection, and the Human Experience through the Polyvagal Institute, which continues to shape the heart of my work with the nervous system.

But most importantly, I’ve lived what I teach. I’ve integrated these tools into my own nervous system, into my life, and into my body—over and over again. My healing path has been layered with transformation, and I often share those personal stories, lessons, and reflections on my Patreon for those who want to explore more.

My work is relational, intuitive, and always co-created with you. If you’re feeling ready to ground more fully into your truth—and would like support that meets you exactly where you are—I offer a few ways to work together:

  • SADR Sessions – for when you’re ready to create space within yourself, reconnect to your body, and move through what’s been stuck or hidden, choose from a three session packager or a single session.

  • Nervous System Tune-Ups – gentle, 45-minute sessions to help you soften tension, reconnect, and return to a steadier inner rhythm. These are perfect when you’re feeling scattered, tender, or just need a supportive pause.

I also love co-designing custom packages for clients who want to experiment and find what truly serves them best. If that’s you, we’ll build something beautiful together.

I can’t wait to meet you—and to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Leila & Why She Does This Work

  • The SADR Method stands for Somatic Alchemy → Discovery → Reconnection.

It is a trauma-attuned, body-led process designed to help you move through stuck survival patterns and reconnect with your embodied Self.

Rather than focusing only on thinking or talking, this work begins with the body—gently exploring sensation, awareness, movement, sound, and creative expression. From there, we move into insight and integration so that what you learn becomes something you can live, not just understand.

  • Somatic work is a body-based approach to healing and self-awareness.

It focuses on how your nervous system holds experiences, emotions, and survival responses. Many patterns we experience—like anxiety, shutdown, or overwhelm—are stored in the body, not just the mind.

    This work helps you:

    • Reconnect with your body

    • Understand your nervous system

    • Move through emotional patterns

    • Feel more present and grounded

    • Return to your authentic Self

  • Each session is experiential, body-led, and customized to you.

Depending on your needs and nervous system capacity, sessions may include:

    • Gentle movement or stretching

    • Somatic breath or sound (such as humming or vocalization)

    • Writing, drawing, or creative expression

    • Sensory awareness practices

    • Nervous system education

    • Music-guided somatic processing

    • Reflection and integration

You will never be forced to share or do anything you are not ready for. We move at the pace of your nervous system—not pressure.

  • No. I am not a licensed therapist.

I am a trauma-integrated somatic reorientation guide and nervous system translator. This work is educational, somatic, and integrative in nature.

It does not replace psychotherapy, medical care, or mental health treatment. If you are currently working with a therapist, this work can often complement that process
